During their fourth year of veterinary school, students from the University of Calgary spend the year working in community veterinary practices around the province.
These practices are known as Distributed Veterinary Teaching Hospitals – Energy Equine is proud to be one of them!
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR OUR CLIENTS?
It means that both our clinic, and our clients, are helping educate the next generation of veterinarians. You, as a client, can play an important role in this education by allowing fourth year UCVM students to participate in the care and treatment of your horse.
If you ever have any questions about the program, please do not hesitate to reach out to our client care specialists at the front desk, or ask your veterinarian, or technician, during your appointment!
