Join us at Energy Equine for the 1st session of the Sports Therapy Lecture Series – The Physiology of Bitting – February 16th!
Spend the morning learning from top bit maker Dave Elliot, of Elliott Bit N Spur, on the science behind bit making.
Then take the afternoon to focus on how bitting effects the bio mechanics of the equine athlete. Energy Equine Veterinary Services’s Dr. Kasara Toth will present on the basic principles of how bitting is related to the spine, as well as touch on chiropractic treatment of the cranial sacral area.
Brigitte Meyer, of Vitality Equine, will finish off the day by presenting on the equine massage therapist’s perspective of bitting. The focus of her presentation will be how head carriage is involved in myofascial release. The day will finish with a Q & A period with all three experts.
We will be giving away a certificate to ONE lucky person in attendance for a CUSTOM Dave Elliot bit of their choice.
